No Worries :) I got it working :) I removed the webpart and re-added and it all started working. Thank you!

I still have one question and perhaps this isn't the place for it, But do you know if you will be adding Y-axis controls? or any layering so that you can have all pictures present in one carousel? This seems to be more of a slider at this point. I welcome any additional tips :)

Many thanks for the web part, but am having some problems with it at moment.

I am using SP2010 enterprise and installed using powershell etc, activate on the my publishing site as per the instruction and used the CarouselLibrary as per the instructions and added 2 image in the library with name URL Description etc and nothing works.

In the 14 hive log I found the following error:

Yeah, we did. I noticed the zip didn't include the custom list though.

The project download like we talked about is a bit of a mess. I keep modifying it to try to get the same contents as in the wsp one can download.

I plan to work on it some more later today.

I was finally able to download the source code for this project using Firefox. For some reason, IE8 would not work.

Now that I do have it, there appears to be a mismatch with the solution that users can download vs the solution from the source code.

Is the source all checked in?

I have references for JCarousel vs SPCarousel. Additionally, the project will not build.

sorry for the late response. What you are describing here is a good idea for a different webpart i would not want to include it in this one. at first i wanted it to be able to show images for image purpose. but now i want it to be more of a menu system rather then a image viewing system

Hi - Can you tell me the following...

1. Can the Carousel display images from folders in the library? For example end users like to load images into different folders (I know, they should use meta-data and I am trying to educate them...) depending on different subject matter, location etc etc...

2. Can an image being displayed be printed?

3. Can an image being displayed be opened in another program? Not IE.

Hi Michelle,

Can you please let me know how did you configure this webpart ? I used the Carousel template to create picture library, added some images and specified this in the webpart configurations. But not seeing anything on the webpart except the Arrows.

I created the pictures library using the content type provided in the feature and added few pictures.

But still not seeing the images on the webpart. Just the arrows are visible.

If you can update the configuration document it would be of great help for us.

I downloaded the latest solution and configured the Webpart but not seeing any images.

Do we need to create any fields in the library ?Or can we use the OOB picture library ?

If you can post how the picture library should look like it would be of great help.

i released the latest version to hastely i have found and resolved the problem. i am just about to upload the fix it , redeploy and you should see the arrows :)
